Nowy album Eda Sheerana jest bezpośrednią kontynuacją jego ostatniej EPki „No. 5 Collaborations Project”. „W 2011 roku nagrałem EP o tytule No.5 Collaborations Project. Od tamtej pory zawsze chciałem stworzyć coś podobnego, więc podczas mojej ostatniej trasy koncertowej rozpocząłem projekt „No.6″.
